Club Championships
Our Club Championships are open to all Leicester Neptune swimmers. You will compete against your age group teammates in events across all strokes (and the Individual Medley) over a variety of distances.
Why do it?
Club Championships are the perfect introduction to racing, especially for our younger swimmers who have never competed before. They are fun, sociable and there is lots of support and guidance from our coaches, team managers and poolside helpers. They are licensed events where your times will be recorded on the Swim England Rankings webpage.
For our more experienced swimmers, Club Champs are a chance to try new events, aim for PBs and enjoy the event with your team mates.
How it works and entry
There are 4-5 Club Championship sessions over the course of the year, between May and October. Each session covers different events.
Invitations to enter are emailed out well in advance, and parents/ carers should complete the Google form to indicate the events their swimmer wishes to race in ahead of the deadline.
Timings and costs
Club Championship sessions are normally held on a Friday or Saturday evening. They last a couple of hours.
There is an entry fee, which you will be advised of. The entry fee covers administrative costs and awards. Payment for your entry is taken via your normal LNSC direct debit.
