The first round of the 2025 Club Championships was held at Parklands last night.

In what was a fantastic night of racing, we saw some of our junior swimmers take part in their first ever official gala – with lots of PBs across all age groups.

Congratulations to the following swimmers who are our first club champions for 2025:

Female

• 100m Breaststroke – Ivy L
• 50m Backstroke – Grace H
• 200m Freestyle – Ivy L
• 400 Individual Medley – Ivy L

Open/Male

• 100m Breaststroke – Ethan S
• 200m Butterfly – Ryan H
• 50m Backstroke – Ben B
• 200m Freestyle – Ben B
• 400 Individual Medley – Ethan S

Thank you – Our events can not run without the volunteers that give up their evening – a big thank you to all of you for your time.

Round 2 – The next round of the Club Championships 2025 is planned for Saturday 28th June (venue tbc). This event will include a number of 25m races for swimmers in our academy. There is also potentially going to be a parents race, so their is plenty of time to step up your training to be race-ready!

Well done to all of our swimmers who competed at Rugby for round 2 of the Winter League on Saturday 8th March 2025.

The age groupings did not really suit the squad we had available, with many swimmers swimming up or being the youngest in their races.

Even so, there were some fantastic performances, with a number of wins, top three places and lots of improvements time-wise. It was a gutsy showing against strong opposition and, as always, Neptune swimmers demonstrated their supportive camaraderie and spirit throughout.

Thanks to all parents and volunteers for their support.

The next gala is our very own club championships on March 21st 2025, and then a busy few months ahead with open meets, the conclusion of the Winter League and the start of the Diddy League.
