Open Meet – City Of Leicester March 31st to April 2nd

by Stephen Benbow

The City of Leicester Meet is being held at Braunstone Leisure Centre and is a L3 Licenced meet.  The minimum age for swimmers is 10 by the 31st December 2023.

More experienced juniors and seniors should be entering longer races (100s and 200s.) whereas those new to this should start with the 50m races that they are best at.

Open meets provide the opportunity to compete and obtain race times for yourselves under the banner of LNSC.  Times can be used to qualify for Counties and Regionals 2024.

We will be working towards this event during training sessions.

Winter League Round 1 – Report

by Stephen Benbow

Team A

A well deserved 2nd place for A Team with 285 points.  We had some fantastic swims across all age groups and a lovely team atmosphere.

We are well placed for the next round.  Thank you to all swimmers, parent taxi services and helpers on poolside.

Team B

Well done to all B Team swimmers.  So many swimmers had to swim up an age group (or two) and you all put in a fantastic effort.  Lots of younger swimmers really enjoying themselves tonight!

Thank you everyone for making it so much fun.
